Initial ViCAM^® Technology
The initial version of the ViCAM^® technology consisted of two ASIC's, a digital image processor in the camera and a separate chip providing for a pass-through feature for the printer port it connected to. We formed a joint venture with Singapore based, ACS Innovations International Pte and manufactured the D-CAM, one of the first tethered motion and still cameras on the market. The D-CAM received the "Most Innovative Product of the Year" award at the 1996 International PC Show in Singapore. The D-CAM was also private labeled to other companies around the world and sold under different brand names.

ViCAM^®-II Technology
With next generation of our technology we significantly increased the performance and features. In 1997 we manufactured and sold the ViCAM^® PC Digital camera, a parallel port camera with a built in pass-through, and in 1998 came out with a USB version of the ViCAM^®. This was also licensed to ACS Innovations and sold as the PS-39 under a different design, and in 1999 the USB version was licensed to 3Com and relabeled as the HomeConnect PC Digital Camera. The ViCAM^® continues to be rated the best webcam on the market. The ViCAM^® is incorporated into numerous other products such as ATM's, self check out stations, biometric products, and many more. The ViCAM^® was also licensed to Iridian Technologies (formerly Iriscan) who we helped develop the Authenticam, a dual-function iris scan/webcam product that won the JP Davis Concept Product event at Comdex 2000. 

ViCAM^®III Technology
The next generation of the ViCAM^® technology promises to be another market leader. Available in two packages, a 144 pin BGA, and a 256 pin BGA, is offered to OEM's for any device that captures still images, motion video and audio.
